Organic Digester Natural Aquarium Treatment

Organic Digester contains naturally occurring bacteria in very high concentrations of colony forming units (cfu).

These bacteria have been specifically selected for their ability to quickly and aggressively degrade organic waste through a natural biological process. This biological process takes place in the aquariums bio-filter, trickle tower and any and all surfaces the bacteria can grow on.

Organic Digester is completely safe for fish, invertebrates and plants. Organic Digester can be used in salt and fresh water aquariums. When used on a regular basis, Organic Digester will eliminate dangerous accumulations of ammonia and nitrite levels.

Organic Digester Natural Aquarium Treatment will also reduce nitrate and phosphate levels, lower hydrogen sulfide (and other obnoxious gases) by digesting leftover foods, waste and other decaying matter (sludge).

Aquariums using UV (ultra-violet) filtration should turn off all UV treatment for a minimum of 48 hours. This will allow Organic Digester adequate time to “biologically seed” your bio-filter by establishing high concentrations of beneficial bacteria.

Aquariums previously treated with chelated copper sulfate, then treated with Organic Digester have shown virtually no detectable copper readings. This is due to specific bacteria combining with the sulfate and changing the copper into an insoluble (non-lethal) form. This now allows invertebrates to survive in the aquarium.

Organic Digester contains twenty different strains of beneficial bacteria, including Nitrobacter and Nitrosomonas.

Dosage amounts will vary depending on the aquarium’s condition. Organic Digester should be applied at approximately 0.2 oz (one squirt) per 55 gallons every two weeks (or weekly, depending on conditions). Organic Digester should also be added after a water change. For problem aquariums, double the dosage.
