Organic Digester (216FP) powder and liquid is designed for use in fish and prawn ponds, lakes and lagoons, where organic odors and organic accumulations are a problem.  It is available in liquid, powder and dissolvable packets.

It contains tens of millions of naturally occurring bacteria which have been selected and produced for their ability to degrade organic matter and reduce ammonia accumulations through a natural oxidative process. 

Organic Digester has twenty specific strains of beneficial bacteria, including Nitrobacter and Nitrosomonas.

Organic Digester digests these pond problem organics naturally and safely. When added to the pond, Organic Digester creates a biological chain reaction by producing greater and greater quantities of natural bacteria and enzymes.  This is the most concentrated product on the market.

STORAGE CONDITIONS: For optimal shelf life, product is best stored in cool, shady areas (under 100F -37C), keep container tightly closed.   Shelf life of the powder is three years and the liquid one year when stored in the suggested conditions.

PRECAUTIONS: See above storage conditions. Keep out of reach of children. See the Material Safety Data Sheet for information on the proper handling of the product.   Shake the liquid well before using!  If using a UV light in the pond, please turn if off for 48 hours after every application of Organic Digester.  ALWAYS RE-TREAT AFTER A RAIN!  Rain washes phosphate into the water which the algae loves!

I am writing this brief note to let everyone know about my experiences with this wonderful product.

When a friend asked me if I knew of anyone who wanted 7 very large 11 year old Koi, I eagerly said I would love to have them! Well it was the beginning of a nightmare. How hard could it be to fill up a 1000 gallon tank, add a filter and sit back and enjoy.

I read books, talked with Burt Ballou of the Associated Koi Clubs Of America who was so very helpful and asked endless questions about how to start up a pond with local pond stores.

I followed every bit of advice except for one, I over stocked my pond in the heat summer. Within two days of adding the fish to my beautiful clear pond, I had water which had turned pea soup green. The nitrite levels started to climb. The fish landed up with Ich. I had to salt the pond to rid them of the Ich.

I went on line to look for help and found Strata International. It only took one email and Jeff from Strata was at my side. He made up a product called AWT-1 for my pond and shipped it FedEx. This product is a custom blend of microbes that reduces the ammonia and nitrites in the pond. It also seeds the bio-filter. This product is used by Seaworld.

The Ich cleared and Jeff had me start using Organic Digester. This is a amazing product, it has twenty specific strains of beneficial bacteria which helps maintain proper pH, dissolves leftover foods, waste matter and sludge it lowers ammonia, nitrite, phosphate, hydrogen sulfide and other obnoxious gases.

My pond and I made it thanks to Strata international. My water is clear, fresh smelling and ammonia and nitrite free. Jeff has me now using Koi Kure once a week which reduces the bad bacteria in the water to keep my fish healthy.

It is now fall and Jeff has recommended Autumn Leaves Digester to use through the winter and early spring. This product has more anaerobic bacteria and will help keep the sludge in order.

Thanks to Strata International I wonʼt need to spend hundreds of dollars on multiple products. Strata has all that will ever be needed to keep my pond in the best condition possible.
