Organic Digester works very well in the treatment of Shrimp and Fish Farms. Organic Digester is used for the following:
- To digest waste and improve water quality for the shrimp and fish.
- Reduces water pollutants that can cause disease and stress for the shrimp and fish.

Results of Shrimp Farm Treatment Using the Organic Digester Biological Solution: Main Objective: To grow larger shrimp in equal or less time. Secondary Objective: Reduce mortality of shrimp due to improved water quality and competitive inhibition of pathogenic bacteria. Location of Farm: Latin America near Gulf of Mexico Operational Parameters Shrimp species: Litopenaeus vannamei (white shrimp). Pond sizes: .9 hectares to 7.6 hectares. Pond depths: 1 to 1.2 meters. Semi-intensive: 18 to 20-post larva/meters. Water salinity 15% to 50% depending on season. pH: 6.8 to 7.2. Water oxygen level: 2 to 10 ppm - Mechanical aeration. No antibiotics used in feed. No disinfectants used in water Shrimp feed supplied by Purina or Zeigler. Total time for growth is approximately 23 weeks. Test Method: Four ponds are to be used in the test. Three ponds will be control groups with the fourth pond being the one dosed with the biological product Organic Digester. The normal growing cycle in this area is 23 weeks.
Dosage Rate: Week # 1- Ten liters of Organic Digester per hectare/week
Weeks # 2 to # 7 – Two liters of Organic Digester per hectare/week. Weeks # 8 to # 23 – One liter of Organic Digester per hectare/week. Results: The shrimp pond using the biological product Organic Digester had a 44.85% increase in weight as compared to the three control ponds. In addition, the treated pond saw an 18% reduction in shrimp mortality. Note: Due to shipping problems, Organic Digester treatment was not started until week # five. It should have started on week # one.
Conclusion: Based on the aforementioned results, Organic Digester was shown to increase the overall vigor of the shrimp, which in turn resulted in better feed utilization and dramatically improved weight (44.85% increase). Competitive inhibition by the beneficial microbes contained inorganic Digester and reduced the mortality rate in the treated pond by 18% when compared with the three untreated ponds. Some of the reduction in mortality could also be attributed to having a healthier environment and more robust shrimp in the Organic Digester treated pond. We believe the results would have been even better if the Organic Digester biological treatment would have been used from the first week.
